Cuba, a country of the West Indies, the largest island of the archipelago, a multicultural, largely urban nation and one of the more influential states of the Caribbean region. It has only one major city, Havana, also the capital and commercial hub of the country, situated on the north-western coast. Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean where the Caribbean sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean meet. It is east of the Yucatan peninsular (Mexico), south of Florida (U.S.A.) and the Bahamas, west of Haiti and north of Jamaica and the cayman islands.

Havana has a population of over 2 million people. The city is the centre of the Cuban government and home to various ministries, Cuban cigars as well as Cuban rums have fuelled the country’s economy for decades.

Rum is distilled alcohol, the distillate is clear liquid usually aged in oak barrels and are produced in different grades, light rums, golden coloured rums and dark rums.

Diablerie Baijiu Cocktail

45ml of V.I.P Jiu 8
45ml of dark rum
25ml of apricot brandy
90ml of unsweetened pineapple juice
1 tablespoon of unsweetened lime juice
2 teaspoons of powdered sugar
4 ice cubes
A sprig mint
A pineapple wedge

Chill a tall glass, put the rest of the ingredients except mint and pineapple into cocktail shaker, shake to mix. Pour into the glass without straining, garnish with pineapple and mint.
