Philippines is an island country of South-east Asia in the western Pacific, an archipelago consisting of around 7000 islands, lying about 500 miles off the coast of Vietnam.

Manila is the capital, and chief city, which is the centre of the country’s political, social and cultural activity, it spreads along the eastern shore of Manila bay at the mouth of Pasig river but Quezon city is the most populous city, located on Luzon the largest island. The second largest is Mindanao in the south-east.

Bounded by the south China sea on the west, the Philippines sea on the east and the Celebes sea on the south-west. The Philippines shares its maritime borders with Taiwan to the north Japan to the north-east Vietnam to the west, Paula to the east and Malaysia and Indonesia to the south.

Lambanog is the traditional Filipino distilled palm liquor made from coconut or nipa palm sap. It originates from Luzon island. It is 40% – 45% ABV a clear, colourless spirit with a potent kick and a hint of sweetness.

Luzon Eclipse Baijiu Cocktail

25ml of V.I.P Jiu 8
25ml of Lambanog
30ml of Amaretto
15ml of lime juice
15ml of Cranberry juice
Lime slice
3 ice cubes

Put ice cubes into high-ball glass, add rest of the liquid ingredients, stir and garnish with a lime slice.
